Kavaja Crag

kavaja crag

Landing out feet onto the beach, we marched our troop of 2 towards Kavaja Crag. Battling, only stopping to make camp or create new strategic plans, we made our way along the sandy shore. The sun warmed our faces, the clam shells and seaweed filled our stomachs and rocks and driftwood were skipped into the Adriatic. When we finally arrived after our 1 mile trek, we looked up to see the rock where Cesar fought Pompeii.

Of course we battled the whole way home too, but I also took in the otherwise quiet scene and listened to the waves crash. The absolute best part of vacationing in winter is that you have miles upon miles of beach all to yourself with perhaps a lone fisherman or another fresh-air soul.
