This week’s soup is White Radish and Beef Soup from the Korean Kitchen by Young Jin Song. Korean food is my absolute favorite, so I am pretty excited to try this out. Plus, it looks simple to do…ie: not many ingredients or instructions 😉 I have not cooked with Chinese white radish, so I can’t wait to see how it tastes.
White Radish and Beef Soup:
- 7oz Chinese white radish, peeled
- 2 oz beef
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 leek, sliced
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- salt and ground black pepper
This soup tasted exactly like its name: beef and radish. It was a bit boring, but definitely filled me up 🙂
