White Radish and Beef Soup: Soup #3

This week’s soup is White Radish and Beef Soup from the Korean Kitchen by Young Jin Song. Korean food is my absolute favorite, so I am pretty excited to try this out. Plus, it looks simple to do…ie: not many ingredients or instructions 😉 I have not cooked with Chinese white radish, so I can’t wait to see how it tastes.

White Radish and Beef Soup:

  • 7oz Chinese white radish, peeled
  • 2 oz beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 leek, sliced
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper

    This soup tasted exactly like its name: beef and radish. It was a bit boring, but definitely filled me up :)
