We Have Arrived in London!
It was a calm, mad dash of a day. We have been travelling by car, shuttle, plane, plane connection and train all to end up at Paddington Station in London, UK.
When Fierce was little, he loved Paddington Bear stories. In the original story, Paddington is offered tea and cakes at Paddington Station and makes a proper mess. So, of course, I had to get Fierce’s picture next to the Paddinton statue and make sure we stopped for tea and cakes too. It was a fun respite before we headed to the hotel.
Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived so in keeping with the literary theme of the day, I suggested we check out the Sherlock Holmes museum. It did not dissappoint. They have every last detail of the Sherlock stories on full display! We even bought a Sherlock Holmes Escape Book where you have to solve puzzles in order to figure out the mystery.
